A considered handoff for important files

Your biggest files. One considered handoff.

Share files up to 5 TB each with clients, partners, or investors in a dedicated data room, with optional passwords, expiry, and controls for the shared link.

Illustrative document and file

Made for the work

A little more detail.
A lot more possibility.

01

Room for files up to 5 TB each

Put large videos, project archives, and datasets alongside your documents. Choose and order the Drive files that belong in the handoff.

02

One link for the material

Publish a dedicated data-room page where visitors can browse the selected files and preview supported formats.

03

Set the sharing conditions

Add a password or an expiration time when the room needs an extra access step or a time limit.

04

Change access when you need to

Disable the room or rotate its public link, and update its selection as the handoff develops.

From idea to everyday

Put it to work.

A practical starting point for data rooms.

  1. 01

    Gather the right files

Publish the relevant materials to workspace Drive and select them for a new room.

  2. 02

    Prepare the room

Order the files, describe the contents, and choose any password or expiration settings.

  3. 03

    Share and manage

Send the room's link and adjust its files or access controls when the work changes.

A little more clarity

Good questions.

How do I share a large file in a data room?

Upload the file to Vault, publish a copy to workspace Drive, then select it for your room. Files can be up to 5 TB each. Visitors can download the originals; in-app previews depend on the file's size and format.

Does a data room expose my entire workspace Drive?

No. A room contains the specific Drive files you choose for it. Visitors do not receive general access to the workspace.

Can I stop a shared link from working?

Yes. You can disable the room, set an expiration, or rotate its link. Those controls affect future access through the room, not copies someone has already downloaded.
